At Anglicare, we aim to treat every person, their situation and their choices with respect. This is made possible by the professionalism and dedication of our 920 staff and 137 volunteers.
Our services are diverse; they include emergency relief, youth mentoring, early education and counselling. We offer support for the aged, people with a disability and those recovering from mental illness. In the delivery of each service, we encourage clients to embrace their own ability to make choices.
Anglicare wants to see an end to all barriers that limit people's choices - things like financial hardship, educational disadvantage and a lack of access to jobs, services, information, technology, transport and housing. Not only are we committed to excellence in service delivery, we undertake research and advocacy - key elements of working for a just Tasmania.
