Anglicare has a range of services to support people to find and maintain suitable housing.
This includes providing Rental Assistance to support people on low incomes in the private rental market.
If you are homeless or at risk of homelessness, ACCESS may be able to assist you. If you require help outside business hours, please contact the Emergency Accommodation Service.
Anglicare also provides Emergency Relief in some locations.
For young men requiring crisis accommodation, we have Youthcare in southern Tasmania.
Anglicare also offers long-term supported accommodation in Lodges in Burnie, Launceston and Hobart. It also works in partnership with Community Housing Limited at three Supported Accommodation Facilities
In Launceston, Family Matters assists families who are at risk of losing their housing because of issues like poverty, debt, illness or relationships issues.
Staying Put is a program in Glenorchy that assists young people who are living independently in private or public housing. Reconnect supports young people in the north-west who are at risk of homelessness.
