Residential Recovery Services

Anglicare operates supported accommodation for people recovering from mental illness - Curraghmore in Devonport and the Rocherlea Rehabilitation and Recovery Centre in Launceston.

What do these services provide?

Curraghmore and Rocherlea offer a home-like environment with:

  • physical, emotional and social support
  • support to re-establish independent living skills
  • support to re-engage with family, friends and the local community.

Rocherlea also has the Step Up, Step Down program to support people who might otherwise require hospital admission.

Who is this service for?

People referred by the State Mental Health Service Maximising Recovery Panel.

Is there a cost?

Yes, for some services.
