Communities for Children
Anglicare is teaming up with local communities to focus on giving children the best possible start and opportunities in life.
We coordinate the Communities for Children program in Launceston and the wider East Tamar Region.
What does this program do?
We work with a range of community partners to:
- reduce disadvantage through improved access to health, education and other services
- improve child health and development
- strengthen family relationships
- increase knowledge and skills about child development and parenting
- increase opportunities for people to connect with and participate in the life of their community
Location
Communities for Children is underway in Launceston and the East Tamar including Waverley, Ravenswood, Mayfield, Mowbray, Invermay, Newnham, Rocherlea, Dilston, Hillwood and George Town.
