King Island Temporary Care and Support Service (KITCASS) provides safe, temporary accommodation for young people aged 13-18 living on King Island who are homeless or need a safe place to stay.
KITCASS can give you:
Is there a cost? No. KITCASS is a project of Rural and Remote Tasmania Reconnect, funded by the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs. It is run as a partnership between Anglicare and the King Island Support Group. KITCASS is available on King Island.Please call 6462 1065. Can you help? If you live on King Island and think you could become a volunteer carer with KITCASS, then please call 6462 1065 for more information. You will receive full training, and also have access to 24 hour support if/when a young person is placed in your care. You will need to undergo an assessment process. |
