What are the workshops about?

Workshop topics include teenagers, parenting skills, step-families, families in the 21st century, child development and addictive behaviours. They are based on adult learning principles, run by professional facilitators, and are interesting, enjoyable, inexpensive and continually updated.

How will the workshops help me and my partner?

During the workshops you will:

  • work out ways of communicating that work for both of you, especially when tough decisions have to be made, there is conflict in the air or anger gets in the way
  • look at some of the main stress factors that are present in every relationship and how they can invade a relationship
  • explore the area of sexuality and intimacy, and how couples can raise and share their feelings on these issues
  • look at your family background and how differences between your families can help or get in the way of building a great relationship
