Rural and Remote Tasmania Reconnect Print E-mail
Rural and Remote Tasmania Reconnect is for young people aged 12-18 and their families who are living in rural or remote areas, where the young person is or is at risk of becoming homeless.

Rural and Remote Tasmania Reconnect offers:

  • free and confidential counselling support on an individual or family basis to everyone in the family
  • conflict resolution, e.g. through mediation
  • information and referral to other services that can help
  • advocacy

Is there a cost? No.

Rural and Remote Tasmania Reconnect is funded by the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.      

Rural and Remote Tasmania Reconnect is available statewide.

Anglicare offers the service in the north-west (including the West Coast and King Island), Relationships Australia in the north and Colony 47 in the south.
