International Women’s Day
An equal world is an enabled world. How will you help forge a gender equal world?
- Celebrate women’s achievement.
- Raise awareness against bias.
- Take action for equality.
On March 8 we celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
This day marks a call-to-action for accelerating women’s equality.
A call to West Coast women of the arts
Painters, sculptors, wordsmiths, designers of warp & weft, weavers and all other means of creativity…
We invite you to create an original piece of work to be displayed at the International Women’s Day exhibition held at Strahan Primary School on March 8, 2021 from 10.30am.
This exhibition is a celebration of the strength and resilience of the women living on the West Coast, which has held this community together for years.
Let the fires of winter warm your creative talent. Let your talent be your inspiration, let women encourage other women to be creative and let’s celebrate expression.
