teams in the North West (Ulverstone, Burnie, Devonport &
Smithton) and greater Launceston region. Anglicare Tasmania’s
Disability Services team proudly deliver person-centred support for
people living with a disability.
About the role:
As an Anglicare support worker, you’ll
be a vital part of people’s lives, professionally assisting
our clients with movement, domestic duties, mealtime support,
medication administration and support with personal
care.

About you:
- You reflect our values of
Respect, Compassion, Hope and Justice - You are physically able
– the job requires a reasonable level of fitness and a
medical assessment will be required prior to joining the
team - You are open to flexible
hours including weekends and sleep-over shifts - Holding a certificate 3
qualification in a relevant field would be a bonus (but is not
a deal-breaker) - Previous experience in
disability or aged care is highly desirable
What you must have:
- A Working with Vulnerable
People Registration (employment category) - A Tasmania Police
Schedule 1 National Police Certificate (no older than 12
months) - A valid Australian Driver
Licence and insured, reliable transport - Australian Residency
status or valid Australian working rights
