Disability Support Workers – Launceston

Anglicare is calling on experienced, multi-disciplinary Disability
Support Workers to join a small team of professionals providing
support services to a client living with a complex disability.

This is an excellent opportunity for seasoned support professionals
looking to further develop their skillset and expand the scope of
their experience.

for people who possess well-developed skills and a willingness to

About you:

  • Experience supporting people with multiple disability
  • Understanding of developmental trauma and a trauma informed
  • Experience in implementing Behaviour Support Plans
  • Focus and commitment to supporting individuals 1:1 and
    providing consistent high quality supports as part of a
  • Experience supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental

Successful applicants will initially be offered casual employment
with the possibility of applying for permanent lines on this
client’s team.

What you must have:

  • Australian Residency status or valid Australian working
  • A Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support or
    another relevant field (or be currently working towards
  • Experience within the Disability industry
  • A current provisional or full Australian Driver Licence and
    an insured, reliable motor vehicle;
  • A current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People
  • A schedule 1 Tasmanian Police National Police Certificate
    no older than 12 months (form available on our website)
