Regional Manager – North/NW


Permanent, full-time
position based in Launceston or on the North West

Anglicare Tasmania is a non-profit
organisation providing a wide range of community services to the
people of Tasmania. We are part of the national Anglicare Australia
network of organisations. Anglicare advocates for social justice
and aids people in times of need. We provide programs relating to
health, housing, families, drug and alcohol treatment and support
and more.

About the

The Regional Manager – Support
Services is responsible for the operational management of the range
of programs delivered by Support Services.

This position is part of the
Community Services senior management team and is expected to work
with the other managers to meet contractual obligations, funding
KPI’s, legislative requirements, drive change and foster
excellence in service delivery.

To be successful in this
role, you will have:

  1. Proven ability to effectively manage people and resources
    within a team that provides support through funding from
    multiple sources. This includes staff support, performance
    development and management and dealing with grievances.
  2. Sound knowledge and experience in strategic and operational
    planning, change management including budget development and
    financial management processes.
  3. Demonstrated experience in meeting contractual obligations
    and providing advice in relation to relevant policies,
    procedures, contractual requirements and relevant
  4. High level interpersonal and communication skills,
    including the ability to communicate with a broad range of
    staff, developing effective relationships across all levels and
    areas of the organisation, manage complex client issues and
    develop and maintain effective networks with other service
    providers and stakeholders.
  5. Relevant degree level qualification in Community Services
    and clearly demonstrated experience or extensive experience
    deemed to be the equivalent
  6. Demonstrated knowledge of issues pertaining to people who
    have complex needs and a conceptual understanding of the
    systematic social and political context in which they

    National Police Certificate (no older than 12 months and
