Our supported accommodation option

Supported independent living (SIL) provides help with and supervision of daily tasks in a shared living environment, with a focus on developing the skills of each individual to live as independently as possible. SIL is also sometimes referred to as shared or supported accommodation.

We work with our residents to create a positive living environment in our shared homes and ensure we respond to resident feedback.

  • What support is there in the properties?

We make sure all our properties are comfortable and secure. A place to call your own.

    We support you with:

    • Cleaning and laundry
    • Cooking and nutrition
    • Personal care like showering and dressing
    • Taking medications
    • Learning to catch public transport

How are decisions made in the house?

Everyone is involved in making decisions big or small. In some houses this means sitting together once a week for a meeting. In others, people come together when there is something to discuss and decide on. This is important for a positive living space for everyone.

  • Who would I be living with?

We know how important it is that people enjoy living together. That’s why we will ask lots of questions about what you like, and what you don’t like so we can match you with people that enjoy similar things.
