Anglicare’s 2026 Winter Appeal is open

Our world feels very uncertain right now.
The cost of living seems to be getting higher each day. The temperatures are dropping – but the pressure is rising.
The people in our communities who live on low incomes are particularly vulnerable. No matter how carefully they budget, the money doesn’t stretch far enough.
They are going without the basics that most of us take for granted, such as a safe, warm home and good food on the table.
CEO Chris Jones says your donation to Anglicare Tasmania’s 2026 Winter Appeal will help people meet their urgent needs.
“We’ll use it to respond to their specific circumstances. This might include paying for food, covering a household bill or assisting with the cost of living in other ways,” he said.
Our workers often speak of the visible relief on people’s faces when they realise that help is available. Thank you for helping us to provide practical support, care and hope this winter.
