Anglicare launches its annual Christmas Appeal

Together, let’s shine a light this Christmas is the message of hope behind this year’s annual Christmas Appeal.
“It’s been a long year and there have been moments where we have all struggled to stay positive – to see the light amidst the darkness. We are all learning together as we go along,” says Anglicare CEO Dr Chris Jones.
“Tasmania must be one of the best places to live in the world at the moment, and we have much to be grateful for. Nevertheless, there are people among us who are facing a bleak Christmas. For others, the stresses of preparing children to return to school in the New Year can be overwhelming.
“I warmly invite you to contribute to the Anglicare Christmas Appeal so we can share the messages of light and hope. You can help us deliver gifts of practical support such as grocery vouchers, food hampers and back-school supplies.”
