About Curraghmore

Curraghmore is a Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation property nestled in the heart of Devonport. The Curraghmore team are devoted to providing a nurturing and empowering environment for their residents.

Residents have NDIS funding for one of the following supports:

Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Individualised Living Option (ILO)
Medium-term Accommodation (MTA)
Short-term Accommodation (STA/Respite)

Curraghmore’s beautifully designed facility boasts three wings, each offering a comfortable home for up to four residents, complete with private bedrooms featuring ensuite bathrooms, shared living and kitchen spaces.

What supports are available at Curraghmore?

Curraghmore offers a range of supportive services tailored to meet the unique needs of residents.

Mental Health Support Workers

Anglicare Tasmania’s dedicated team of Mental Health Support Workers are available 24/7, including an overnight wake shift, ensuring that residents have continuous access to professional support.

Daily Living Skills

Our caring staff provide personalised assistance to enhance daily living skills including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, medication routines, and lifestyle decisions.

Building Independence

At Curraghmore we focus on fostering residents’ independence, emotion management, and meaningful connections with others. Additionally, we can assist with arranging Centre pay from your Centrelink payment for rent, if required.

Community Integration and Transport

Anglicare Tasmania believes in the power of community integration and our Curraghmore team encourage residents to explore and connect with the vibrant community around them. For residents with transport funding as part of their NDIS package, we can provide access to a vehicle to support their needs.

How long can I stay at Curraghmore?

Our Curraghmore team are committed to meeting each individual’s needs which is reflected in our flexible accommodation arrangements.

Residents can choose from the following options:

Permanent stays – offers a secure and stable home for those seeking long-term support.
Medium-term stays – offers support for up to 90 days, ideal for those seeking transitional assistance.
Short-term stays including respite – we offer short-term stays including respite ranging from 1 day to 42 days for those in need of temporary support, carer support or a break from your normal routine.
