Submission on the Draft Southern Tasmanian Regional Land Use Strategy 2010-2035

This submission focuses narrowly on the issue of social housing, while endorsing the broader submission of our colleagues at TasCOSS. Anglicare believes it is important that the Land Use Strategy creates an environment that is as supportive as possible of good social housing policy outcomes. Although we have some concerns about the possible interpretation of some of the Actions relating to social housing, Anglicare nevertheless welcomes the attention and recognition given in the draft strategy to social housing and the important role it plays.
