Submission to the Tasmanian Government Draft Residential Development Strategy

Anglicare believes that the Draft Residential Development Strategy goes some way towards the needs of Tasmanians on low incomes, but falls short of making full use of this opportunity to promote equality and inclusion. It recommends that the Draft be refined to include a higher vision of housing all Tasmanians. This submission provides recommendations on every section of the Draft Strategy from a point of view of social inclusion, including issues such as heating, transport and stigma.
