Simply delicious

When the temperatures turn colder, a delicious, nutritious soup will warm body and soul.

Trinity Hill, located in North Hobart, provides safe affordable housing for young people on low incomes. Students live independently but with a shared focus and support to continue their education and job-readiness.

Chicken and Corn Soup tops their list for simple winter meals to share. We hope you enjoy it as much as they do.

Chicken and Corn Soup

Ingredients

1 chicken breast, chopped and boiled
1 packet of chicken noodle soup
2 spring onions or chives, chopped
2 cans of creamed corn
Salt
Pepper

Instructions

1. Make the chicken noodle soup as per the instructions on the packet.
2. Add boiled and chopped chicken.
3. Add chopped spring onion.
4. Add cream corn.
5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
6. Simmer on a low heat for 1-2 hours until thick and all ingredients have combined, stirring occasionally.
7. Serve and enjoy.

The students who live at Trinity Hill have safe, secure accommodation and know where their next meal is coming from. Other Tasmanians are not so fortunate. You can help us to support them with emergency accommodation, food and heating by contributing to our annual Winter Appeal.
