Circle of Security Parenting

The Circle of Security Parenting Course is designed to help parents support their children through their emotions.  In doing this it provides security within the child to experience their emotions.  This helps to develop secure attachment of the child with their parent. 

The course is FREE and is aimed at parents with young children, however, can be applied in parenting of children of all ages.

What you will learn

In this course for parents and caregivers, you will learn how to:

• understand your child’s emotional world by learning to read emotional needs
• support your child’s ability to successfully manage emotions
• enhance the development of your child’s self esteem
• honour the innate wisdom and desire for your child to be secure.
• how to calm tantrums and meltdowns faster.

You will learn how to use the principles through real world examples and videos.

The Circle of Security Parenting course is delivered by Anglicare out of our Glenorchy office on the same day and time for a period of 8 weeks.

The next course starts on Monday October 21st, 2024, between 10.30 am and 12.30pm at Anglicare Tasmania, 436 Main Road, Glenorchy TAS, 7010.
