Rocherlea Rehabilitation and Recovery Service

A residential service that aids mental health recovery in a safe and calm environment

The Rocherlea Rehabilitation and Recovery Service provides therapeutic, non-clinical care to adults who are recovering from mental illness.

Located in Launceston, Rocherlea has a central building which houses 5 self-contained rooms suited to intensive short term support.  It also has 10 units set up for people to stay for longer as they transition towards independent living.

Anglicare Tasmania works in partnership with the Tasmanian Government’s Adult Community Mental Health Service to implement individualised care plans for residents to support them to transition back into the community.

To access this service you need a referral from the Adult Community Mental Health Service in Northern Tasmania.
