Submission to Residential Tenancy Commissioner draft guidelines for residential tenancy dispute

The draft content of the guidelines covers many important areas of potential dispute between landlords and tenants and much of the information will be illuminating and useful. However, Anglicare is concerned that the document as drafted is not particularly user-friendly. There are a number of elements that Anglicare feels need to be expressed in much stronger terms or explained in more detail to ensure the document is as useful as possible. Anglicare reiterates the comments made regarding the establishment of a residential tenancies tribunal which were made in our submission to the review of the Residential Tenancy Act.
