Thin Ice: Living with serious mental illness and poverty in Tasmania

Anglicare Tasmania's Social Action and Research Centre, SARC

The principal concern of this report is to understand the compounding interconnections between poverty and serious mental illness from the perspectives of Tasmanians with mental illness who are living on a low income and their families. How does living with severely limited financial and social resources affect the course of people’s illness? What is required to increase stability and security to ensure they are able to live a full life?
