Supported Accommodation Facilities
Supported Accommodation Facilities provide affordable rental accommodation with on-site support.
They are for people aged 18 years or over who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness, and who are eligible for social housing.
This type of accommodation suits people who:
- Require low to moderate support to live independently;
- Are willing to engage in support which enhances their capabilities to live a safe and happy life; and
- Are able to live in a communal setting close to others with some shared facilities.
The Supported Accommodation Facilities encourage applications from people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait islanders (ATSI), Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds and LGBTIQ+ communities.
